Amathole ANC official found guilty of defaming former Mbhashe councillor

Former ANC provincial executive committee deployees convener in the Amathole region, Mziwonke Ndabeni, has been found guilty of defaming the party’s ex-Mbhashe municipality ward councillor, Sitembiso Sicengu. The Elliotdale magistrate’s court ordered Ndabeni to pay Sicengu R350,000 in damages. Ndabeni was also instructed to foot the legal bills.
