Traffic delayed as protesters block Gonubie main road

Motorists were faced with a traffic jam on Friday morning when a group of protesting Quenera residents blocked Gonubie’s main road. The residents are up in arms after the department of transport failed to honour its promise to upgrade the access road to Quenera from gravel to tar. The residents closed off lanes in the morning, delaying traffic.
