Police confirm East London tavern death toll stands at 20

Eastern Cape police have confirmed that  20 patrons died at Enyobeni tavern in Scenery Park, East London in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police spokesperson Brig Tembinkosi Kinana said the ages of the victims ranged between 18 and 20. Initially, it was believed that the toll had reached 22.
