Fellow pupils, community say farewell to NU2 murder victim Owam Ntutu, 16

Wongalethu High School pupils and the community of NU2 Mdantsane braved the blistering cold weather on Saturday to bid farewell to 16-year-old Owam Ntutu. Ntutu’s body was discovered in NU2 on the morning of August 7 after she was murdered, allegedly by her 31-year-old boyfriend. Sebenzile Xatasi of the Ubuntu Foundation said its aim was to work with men and boys in programmes to develop boys into men who would not be a threat to society.
